Anton is the head of innovation research at The Entrepreneurs Network, a UK-based think tank dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. He is also historian-in-residence at the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA), where he has written the organization's latest history. Anton holds a PhD in Political Economy from King’s College London and previously served as a lecturer in Economic History at King’s College and a postdoctoral researcher at Brown University. His research focuses on the history and causes of innovation, especially during Britain’s Industrial Revolution. Anton is the author of Arts and Minds, a book about the Royal Society of Arts' role in driving national improvement for over three centuries. Through his work, he translates historical insights into practical policy proposals to encourage innovation today. Anton also shares his research widely via his popular newsletter, Age of Invention.
